Rescheduling of EID-Celebration Picnic
Dear Community Members
As salaam alaikum
As you know that we cancelled the Eid-Celebration Picnic on May 30, due to inclement weather. In Sha Allah, MACCLM will be rescheduling Eid-Celebration Picnic at Lincoln Park in Lexington from 4 PM to 8 PM on Sunday, June 13, 2021. We welcome all our community members to join this event to play games/sports (4:00 PM to 6:30 PM) and enjoy food (6:30 to 8:00 PM) followed by Maghrib prayer (8:25 PM).
Potluck Dishes
We request each family to bring food sufficient for 5-7 people. Please sign up to bring your delicious dishes on https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040A44AEAD2BAAFF2-eidcelebration. After picnic, please take your food back or distribute among your friends. “Do Not Litter or Waste the Food”.
COVID-19 Guidelines
Please follow the existing guidelines issued by CDC, State and Town while enjoying your food and sports.
Sports and Games
We plan to arrange games such as badminton, cricket and soccer for brothers and sisters in separate fields. We will be having teams: Nephews vs Uncles for brothers, and Nieces vs Aunts for sisters. The participants' sheet, game plan and rules will be revealed at the picnic.
Maghrib Prayer
We will pray Maghrib on the field at 8:25 PM.
Alternate Venue (In Case)
Approval for picnic area and softball field at Lincoln Park sites are confirmed. In case of rain, the alternate venue for the picnic will be MACCLM at 344 Lowell Street, MA, 02420.
Cleaning the Picnic Area
Please help clean the picnic area before going back home. And, if possible, each person should take one bag of garbage with him/her.
Don’t forget your enthusiasm as well as family at your home. Please bring them. We look forward to seeing you at Lincoln Park.
